Mass Exodus Big 12 Style
Two more players are outta here. First off Leon Jackson is reportedly leaving for good this time. I guess he wasn't happy with the wealth of talent we have in store for this fall. Later Bitch.
The other player isn't a Husker thank god, but he is a Nebraskan originally. Allan Everidge, 6 game starter a year ago, and freshmen passing yardage record holder at K-state has decided to leave the team. KSU originally had 5 QB's competing in the spring, but with the departure of webb, everidge and some other no name it's down to 2. Senior QB Meier and Freshmen Bitch Freeman are the only one's left. It looks like ole ron prince made a deal reminiscent of Mack Brown Chris simms, "come here and you'll start I promise." I love it, because A) it never works out for the best and B) without competition your QB doesn't improve. Thank you Ron Prince for selling out in less than 6 months on the job.

By the way, Beck's profile on Facebook yesterday said that he is transferring to Louisville. No official word yet, but that speculation came straight from him.
I don't think these situations are all that similar though. Beck's is a case of some kid who thinks he's a hot shot and has never had to work for anything in his life, not getting what he wants and running home to mama.
Everidge is a sticky situation. Ron Prince is officially the worst coach in the Big 12 and he's only been on the job for about a month. It sounds like he is treating Freeman like the 2nd coming of Vince Young and basically telling everyone else, (including Everidge who played with a lot of heart last year while setting some freshman QB records), to go blow themselves. Now there are charges of favoritism and racial prejudice coming out of Manhattan. If I was a K-State fan, I'd shoot myself right now, if I hadn't already some 10 years ago.

No, but seriously, I won't miss him. He was a talent, but isn't he the guy that tried to quit once already? Shoot, first it was fourth stringers trying to quit, now it's 3rd stringers....ooh damn

I wouldn't go that far to say he is the worst coach in the big 12 or whatever. I would say they finish 3rd or maybe even second in the big 12 north and make a bowl. Dan Hawkins is an overrated coach as well as Pinkel and even Man(va)GinA at KU. Prince has a decent shot at putting together a good team. The fans like him, and he can apparently recruit, so i'm a little worried that things could get going again at K-state once again.
